CAMP BEREA

Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.

Camp Berea’s mission is to create and continuously develop programs which appeal to children, teens, adults and families such that they respond to the message of Jesus Christ and/or the life changing principles of God’s Word within the context of meaningful relationships and memorable camp experiences. That mission is lived out among the lives of the 10,000+ guests and campers who walk through the gates each year. Hundreds are introduced to Christ while hundreds more make some of the most significant spiritual decisions of their lives.

Berea’s natural beauty is unsurpassed as it sits on the shore of crystal clear Newfound Lake in the mountains of New Hampshire. Year round the excitement never lets up at Berea. Winter weekend retreats, summer camps for all ages, Family Camp and Youth programs year round are all a part of the unique blend of spiritual stimulation, physical activities and fellowship for every age.

Ron Ward is the Executive Director where he has served since 1975. Ron and his wife Laura have seven children and have been an active part of the River of Grace Family.
