What are Spiritual Disciplines?

Definition: Spiritual Disciplines are biblical practices that Christians use to grow their relationship with God.

The Spiritual Disciplines

1. Reading the Word: Hearing God’s voice.
2. Mediating: Taking a chunk and reflecting on it.
3. Prayer: Pouring our hearts out to God.
4. Fasting: Fasting from stuff to get full on Jesus.
5. Solitude: Getting alone with God.
6. Silence: Getting quiet before God.
7. Rest & Recreation: A Day off.
8. Corporate worship: Getting together with Christians on Sundays to worship Jesus.
